It can be argued that words are the most useful gift the human race has received. Through history, the written word has been the primary facilitator of connections made. Publications have enabled nations to incite revolutions, and then are used to rebuild functioning societies. Letters sent between families and friends have allowed bonds to remain despite the circumstances that might otherwise tear them apart. And individuals have for centuries entrusted to journals the words that provide personal companionship and comfort.
Depending on how they are used, words can serve to educate, motivate, illustrate, coordinate, nauseate, humiliate, and stimulate. Whatever your message, the words exist. Too often the difficulty, however, is finding the words. Our hope is that an October Journal can help.
Within the pages of an October Journal lie questions to stir your thoughts and space for those thoughts to be organized. Our hope is that you will discover feelings hidden beneath the confusion of emotion and capture memories that too soon may hide behind the curtain of time. Inside an October Journal, your words will live for years to come - always waiting for you to revisit what has been saved.
May you find enjoyment and purpose in these pages as you describe your life.
Thank you,
October Journals
